To keep you up to date

We have created this blog to keep you up to date with the project. We are three nurses and work in a hospital that delivers over 3500 babies a year. Unfortunately, we witness many miscarriages, and loss of babies, too many. Having gone though it myself, Caroline as well, we have decided to create a booklet that we want to offer to families going through it.

There is barely no support right now in our hospital and others in Montreal. It has to change. We want people to understand that losing a baby hurts, wheter it happens at beginning of the pregnancy or further along. We want the family that goes through it, to feel like they are not alone, like someone understands. We have collected already many texts and we thank you for them. We are convinced that this booklet will be a very precious and needed tool in the hospital. We are hoping that it will be offered throughout Quebec. If you would like to participate, you can send your texts. If you already sent your texts, you can come see the site for news on the project.

Développements

Et voila nous avons créé ce blog pour pouvoir vous tenir à jour des développements! N'hésitez pas s'il y a des questions.

Nous sommes 3 infirmières , Sarah, Mélanie et Caroline ayant à coeur le deuil périnatal. Nous travaillons présentement sur l'élaboration d'un guide sur le deuil périnatal pour les mamans qui perdent leur bébé de 5 à 42 semaines de grossesse. Nous voulons également démontrer que peu importe le nombre de semaine de grossesse, il y a une peine, un deuil...Alors nous aimerions recevoir vos témoignages car nous mettrons un ou plusieurs témoignages par semaines de grossesse. votre témoignage doit avoir environs 400-450 mots, contenir votre histoire et surtout ce qui vous a aidé dans ce dur moment.

Pourquoi nous tenons à ce projet, Caroline et Sarah ont vécu la perte de 3 petits anges chacune et en travaillant à l'hôpital, surtout à l'urgence et chirurgie d'un jour on se rend compte qu'il manque beaucoup d'aide pour ses mamans qui repartent les mains et le coeur vident...
